Like so many others, I was suckered in to opening an account due to weekend (especially Sunday) banking and after hours bank.
Now only 1 bank withing a 50 mile radius of me is open on Sunday, and it's quite a drive.
Also, customer service is simply gone. In the midst of one of the worst ice storms in recent history, I called Best Bank to see if their branches are open before hazarding a dangerous drive down a 2-lane road where there nearest branch is located. 45 minutes before the bank is scheduled to open and customer service cannot tell me if the branch will be open. They tell me to call back at 10:00 to see if the branch will be open, but THAT is their scheduled opening time. Hello? What is the point? I need to BE there when it opens to make a deposit because you were CLOSED yesterday, preventing my deposit.
My account is now negative because the branches closed yesterday without any kind of notice at all. Unlike other banks and credit unions who care about their customers and their customers' safety, there is NO alert posted on the Best (Worst) Bank website, nor is there any mention of a possible closing in the AJC.
Clear Coverage? Not an option since my account is now negative due to their closing yesterday. They can't sign me up.
ATM Deposit? Not an option -- there's a THREE DAY DELAY in ATM deposits. Are you kidding me????
Online deposit like at my credit union? NO SUCH THING at WorstBank.
Scan-to-deposit or cellphone-picture check deposit like other banks? NO SUCH THING at WorstBank.
I've given this poor excuse for a financial institution chance after chance to be worthy of my business, but have had enough. I'm closing my account today. I would highly discourage anyone from doing business with this JokeOfABank. Find a real bank instead.
