I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Liu and his staff. From the first phone call and the first time that I met Dr. Liu, I was totally comfortable with him. He is knowledgeable, empathetic, and thorough. Dr. Liu takes the time to ask questions about your health and explains the procedure with you. In all honesty, this was a huge difference from the first facility that I had a consultation with. After having a bad feeling about the other lap band facility, I am so thankful that I decided to put my fear on the back burner and research Dr. Liu. It could have literally been a huge mistake to forge ahead with a company that is not interested in the patients' health and well being, and is only there to drain your bank account.
My surgery was on Sept. 13, 2010 and it will forever change my life. I had many health problems and was on quite a bit of medication. At 41, I was using a CPAP machine and my quality of life was not what I had envisioned. After a couple of years of researched the surgery, I knew that I had come to a decision that would benefit my health, but also a decision that would prolong my life. I'm a wife, mother and work with children. This has absolutely been the best thing I could have done for myself. The only pills present in my life now are multi-vitamins! It's such a great feeling to have my energy back and see the scale going in a downward motion! I cannot thank Dr. Liu and his staff enough for their empathy and continued support.
