My husband and I went to Cora's for the second time for brunch this morning and the food was really excellent. We were seated in the outside patio which has about 10 tables and is really quaint.
My husband ordered the Tuna Melt and I had the Bruschetta with Soft Egg. Both were delicious-- They were both served on this fresh, yummy, crispy Italian bread. The Bruschetta was made with heirloom tomatoes and tasted very fresh and light. The tuna melt was perfectly savory.
My main complaint was that the service was extremely slow. We arrived before 10AM and it took us 15 minutes to get seated, then 5 minutes to get a menu, 15 minutes to get our food, and then 10 minutes to get the bill after we asked for it. The whole meal was a little over an hour, so it was not terrible, but they were definitely not speedy. I think most of it can be attributed to the awkward layout -- the waiters have to pick up food from behind a counter inside the restaurant, walk out the front door, and then deliver it to your table in the outside patio. Definitely not efficient.
All in all, I'd come back because the food was so good, but only if I were not in any rush to go anywhere afterward and had time to have a leisurely meal.
