keep telling myself, ""I'm never eating here ever again"" because 1) the drinks are overpriced for the location/what you get, and 2) the food is really, really bad for you here. I even feel the fat inject into my thighs as I place my order. I guess the only thing that's really saved me from a life subject to morbid obesity is the fact that the calories and other nutritional facts are required by law in establishments that have more than 10 operations in CA. The bar area is sort of small, as is the dining room area. The layout is weird, and you have to walk through crowded tables to get to the restroom. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes when you ask a question about the menu the guy or girl will just sort of look at you with a blank stare as if you asked them a question about String Theory, but they are very nice and attentive. They are also throroughly trained in the art of upselling. No easy task ""in this economy!""
It's never my first choice, nor my second or third, however if a friend wants to dine in or grab a drink for happy hour who am I to say no? It's in the neighborhood and it's low-key/non-descript. There is no fuss when going to Chili's. Maybe there's something to be said about that.
Check your skinny-b****-diet at the door, because it's all downhill from here and it ain't pretty.
