I joined Dahn Yoga a few years ago for many reasons. As a mother of 3 and full time travelling salesperson, I had a great deal of stress but little time that I dedicated just for me! I was always doing for other people. It got so I couldn't sleep at night, was having tension headaches, shoulders and back so tight that I could hardly bend or sit for long periods. My circulation was poor and I was seeing a chiropractor for my back and stiff neck. I was over weight and mood eating, depressed and taking it out on everyone. Once I started, I learned how to manage my stress, clear my cluttered mind and relax. My body began to relax with the stretching exercises as well as the brain wave vibration classes (my favorite at the end of a looong week!). I really liked all of the classes and once I started coming regularly, I really began to lose the weight! I also did my home exercises regularly and that truly made a difference in how my body changed! I lost over 35 pounds and started to see definition in my body! My depression was gone, I stopped seeing the chiropractor as my body became more flexible. I was so excited the day I could touch my toes without extreme pain! I love my yoga and the instructors and members alike are wonderful! This place is great and so enjoyable! I feel more energetic, alive and so happy!
