After 2 weeks on the Gulf Coast (1 week in New Orleans), we had perhaps the best meal of our trip at Caroline's. Crabcake stuffed scallops was one of our favorites and the way that the lobster sause and scallops compliented the crab was amazing. Blackened snapper was almost perfect (a bit dry) but the garlic mashed potatoes made up for everything. All of this great food at a price that was about 50% of the same meal in New Orleans. Needless to say, the local oysters couldn't have been any fresher and the taste....well I wish we lived closer!
