My husband & I are planners and we like to stick to a budget. However, quality is so important to us as we consider our furniture an investment. When it's time to buy furniture for our home, we really do our research. We look at furniture joints and how the glides are built, etc. We also visit as many stores as possible. We can get quality furniture at other stores of course, but the prices are unbelievably high. Recently we purchased bedroom furniture for our son who was just getting out of the crib. Having furnished four rooms previously with furniture from Carl's Furniture City and being very satisfied, we decided to make a game of this purchase and save Carl's Furniture City for last. We visited four other stores including Joe Tahans and Raymour and Flanigan. I saw furniture that I really liked at these stores, but the prices weren't at all even close to practical for our growing family. When we walked in to Carl's Furniture City one Saturday morning, I found the perfect furniture for our son's room within 5 minutes of being in the store (which is a record according to my husband)! The finish, the style, and most importantly, the quality were all there. We were able to purchase the furniture, a mattress, kitchen table, and six chairs for what it would have cost for the bedroom furniture alone at the other stores. Something else certainly worth mentioning is the fact that you feel welcome and appreciated at Carl's Furniture City...even your two year old is catered to! No more games for us...five rooms later over a period of five years, we're heading straight for Carl's Furniture City for our next purchase and save ourselves some time (and lots of money)!
