As members of a Christian Church - Disciples of Christ (DOC)denomination, we specifically were looking for a DOC close to where we were staying while in the Burbank area. FCC of NoHo was where we landed. One of THE friendliest congregations we're ever had the pleasure of visiting. They went out of their way to make us visitors feel welcome and included. Being in an area of artistic people certainly made for a talented music program and anyone with a ""speaking part"" from the ministers to the scripture readers to the lay messages on stewardship or communion had pertinence, a professional presence and articulation! In reading about their church on the Internet (where else these days?), I could see that they take mission work and their community seriously. What can I say? It's Hollywood, so my husband and I say, ""Bravo, FCC of NoHo!"" It was a great way to start off 2011!
