When i called to inquire about a procedure cost , the front desk person started listing a variety of tests that are performed with the service in question. When asked for the total cost of the procedure(form I-693) ,she said that the doctor charges separately for each test .Thus making the cost of the procedure $677. That being a total ripoff , i contacted immigration and asked them the requirements for i-693. I understand that they cannot control the amount that the civil surgeon charges for the immunizations .I do wish however that she would let me speak to the doctor but she said that the doctor has ""BETTER'"" things to do . ok, well just for the record ;no u do not need a drug test for form i-693 hun . So since the doctor has better things to do then speak with potential patients ,i guess he wont be seeing my $677. I happen to find another FAIR civil surgeon that only charges $200 all inclusive .And thats after calling a few other doctors that charge the same , i went with the one closer to my house. Its sad how poor customer care skills can cost a doctor (who is unaware of his front desk employees attitude )money. Now this was not to rate Dr.Barros because i never got a chance to even visit him , after being barked at by the appointment person who picked up the phone . more
