Sent my wife in on 12/29/2010, to check on renting a generator and a big heater for our super bowl party. When she arrived there was no one at the counter, and while she was standing there, she over heard an employee in the back being obnoxious toward another employee, cussing and yelling. After being subjected to this for appox. 5 minutes and no one even noticing she was in the store, she left.
When she told me about what happened, I had her call in to the Corporate headquarters and voice a complaint about what happened. Then had her check back yesterday to find out what happened to resolve the issue. She was told by the HR dept. at headquarters that the manager of the store had tried to call her back and had left a message for her to call him. WRONG !!!! The man DID NOT call her, nor did he leave any message. She was told that the situation had been handled the day after she called in. WRONG!!! Then she was asked if it would be ok for the manager to try to contact her again, to which she said yes.
When the manager did finally call, he told her a completely different story. That the employee that had caused my wife's un-comfort by his language had been written up that morning and never mentioned once that he had tried to call.
Up until this point all I wanted was an apology to my wife for the situation... but now after the run around that has happened... I WILL be taking my business and the business of my clients else where. This is not the first time that I have had issues with this store, I have had to endure employees being almost rude when there to load rented equipment, equipment not being ready when we came to pick it up, yet until this I struck it off as to err is human. Yet now all I can say is that I am glad our daughter was not with my wife when she went in.
Caution unless you want your wife, your employees or your clients learning how many times one can say G.D., F-ing this or that, M.F. and various other colorful language.... Stay clear of this location !!!!!!!!!
