Need new brake pads. Examined rotors myself to be fine, no groves or thinness. Dropped car off and went to work. They called back and informed me the rotors need replacing. After questioning, I was told the new brake pads eat into the rotor, causing them to thin out. At work, can't verify and accepted his explanation (stupid me). Made several calls to other service stations and no one heard of new brake pads causing rotor to thin out. Paid for service since the "work" was already performed.
