I tried Pilates for the first time at the beginning of November last year and I'm already hooked! Core Pilates does a fantastic job of explaining the techniques and all the instructors help you understand that Pilates is not just about coming in once a month or a few times a year --- it's about a lifestyle of fitness, and always setting fitness goals and achieving them. being so new to this "lifestyle" I was a little unsure if I'd get hooked... but just a couple months later, I not only see results but I feel better in general, and I feel inspired to maintain this healthy, active Pilates lifestyle.
I should also add: Pilates is no easy workout. Whether you're on the mat or the reformer, the workout can be as challenging as you and the instructor make it - and you will never be disappointed with your results as long as you commit to putting in the effort during your one hour instruction. Pilates is, by far, the best workout I've ever had!!
