Gym memberships never worked for me. I would show up, pound the weights, run on a treadmill for awhile and after a month or so get so bored I would lose interest.
A friend of mine in Chicago turned me onto Krav Maga. He explained not only did he get a great workout, never got bored, and his confidence level skyrocketed.
My first class was rough, but I was expecting that. After doing this for over a year, I am in the best shape of my life. I highly reccomend this to anyone who wants to get into shape but gets bored at a gym. All you have to do is show up and they work you out. I always leave knowing I have done a full workout.
The instructors are top notch. Every single instructor is patient with everyone from a begginer student all the way up to veterans.
