I took my computer in to Best Buy because my computer was constantly freezing up on me. So, the Geek Squad rep told me that it would cost me $225 plus tax to repair and that it would be ready to pick up in just over a week. I agreed to leave it there since I have a laptop too that I use. When I picked up my computer a week later, not only did I lose my data, they wanted to charge me for a hard drive PLUS the installation of this new hard drive. I ended spending over $500 dollars AND lost ALL of My Data. I mean, my computer was only freezing up. The least they could have done was called me and told me 1) that they were going to destroy my data so I could at least make a decision to proceed with a new hard drive or at least go and obtain a 2nd opinion 2) that a hard drive would be added to the total cost plus the installation.\r I will never take my computer to these guys again. Unbelievable! more
