I took my dog to Ironwood today for the first time. I was a bit nervous after reading the reviews on this site, but I worried for nothing. My dog has had an eye infection for the last 3 weeks that my previous vet has been unable to clear up. \r

From the minute we walked in, the staff was friendly, my dog is usually terrified at the vet and refuses treats, with the Ironwood staff he was calmer, allowed them to hold him (which he doesn't do at our other vet) and took treats from them. \r

Unlike my previous experience with my other vet, tests were run on my dog. It wasn't assumed he had "allergies". \r

Long story short. I paid twice as much, traveled twice as far, but my dog was comfortable and I felt like he got the best care possible. I'll be using them as my vet from now on. \r
