I went to the mail post to fax my husband's medical records to his doctor. He was all the way in Everett waiting because the doctor could not see him without the records. It cost me over $26 to fax. I have mild dyslexia which caused me to transpose a number on the fax cover sheet so the records did not make it to my husband's doctor. I went back to the Mail Post to re-fax them thinking it would be no problem and they wouldn't charge me. Boy, WAS I WRONG! I explained my situation to the clerk, a middle aged woman with ugly glasses, brown hair and huge bangs, she had no sympathy and told me it was my fault because I wrote down the wrong number. I was so shocked and furious it brought me to tears!! $26 for a transposed fax!! and they wanted to charge me AGAIN for a simple mistake. I got the owner's number and she had me drive to the other Mail Post down the street so she could re-fax the documents for me at no charge. The owner was nice on the phone but that clerk was AWFUL. I will NEVER go to the Mail Post EVER AGAIN. I would rather drive down to the Issaquah post office. When I told my friends about the incident they said they've had problems with that same clerk being rude and unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend going there if you want to be treated fairly with respect and decency.
