I have been going to the Cape for years and have never met a host/manager who treated patrons of their restaurant so poorly and unprofessionally as when recently at the Port. \r

As with other reviews, there was a mix-up with our parties size as one person in our group at the last minute could not make our reservation. Upon telling the manager/host this, he responded unapologetically that we now had an hour and 45 minute wait and could have a drink at the bar and wait or leave. We explained quite reasonably that there was obviously a table waiting for us to which he responded that there in fact was but we could not have it with a large grin on his face almost challenging us to confront him. He then ignored our party and gave away our table to a group the same size! \r

Never once did the manager / host offer any apologies and were the rudest, most unprofessional people I have ever met. While the Port might currently be able to get away with horrible service, it will eventually catch-up with this restaurant as more people realize their poor level of client service and satisfaction.\r

I regret that I can not comment on the food and value at the Port because we were so disgusted with our experience that we decided not to eat there! I never wish our experience on any other person and hence am recommending never wasting your time and money on such an awful establishment.\r
