Finally decided to eat at Threadgill's after hearing live music while driving by for over a year.
I was a little disappointed that the band was outdoors only and you couldn't hear it inside (you have to pay extra for a ticket to see them, which makes sense I guess) but I did enjoy the indoor atmosphere and decor.
Had the chicken fried steak, and it was indeed delicious. The portions were smaller than I was expecting, though. And I could only afford one mixed drink because those were a little pricey! However the waitress was extremely attentive and peppy.
I wouldn't mind returning for a second soul-food experience.
