For the past fourteen years Dr. Yanuck has patiently helped me create ""Sunshine From Darkness"" in my life. I'm not one to write reviews, and this is my first.\r

After reading the first post by mvkmako, I have questions regarding the ""comments."" I did take the time to pull up the profile where this individual has rated many Psychiatrists. The term ""mothering"" is attached to the individual's Psychriatrist of choice. I do agree; Dr. Yanuck is not mothering; instead she is empowering. \r
\r
She has been my strong, powerful advocate when I was too sick to be my own. She has been a conscientious listener and practioner. She has been emotionally present with me when I was too sick to be emotionally present for myself. \r
\r
I do not understand the ""straight-laced"" description unless it is meant to mean ""professional."" She combines both holistic methods and conventional medicine as needed. \r
\r
As to the comment of being overly concerned about time and money, she has demonstrated generosity and timely responses to me. When the recession hit, I was very ill, and my spouse was temporarily without pay. Dr. Yanuck was kind to treat me and hold my check until my spouse was back on salary. \r

I have a long history of gratitude toward Dr. Yanuck. We have forged a path together which has led to my mental and physical health. \r
\r
I have recommended her to my friends, and I recommend her here as a Psychiatrist for anyone seeking excellent comprehensive care.\r
