I will preface by saying that the level of exceptional service I received from Mr. Jeff Chalker warrants my following comments about his professionalism. Jeff’s involvement in my home-buying process played an important in that the manner in which he conducted business and handled the details of the lending process for my home purchase was integral to my not just purchasing a home but realizing a dream so my apologies to State Farm as I borrow from its slogan in part when I say “that like a good neighbor, Jeff Chalker is there” in explaining to me such things as interests rates, points, mortgage payments, property taxes, etc. so that I could make sense of a convoluted process. \r

When I began my search for lenders via Lending Tree and Jeff’s company, iFreedom Direct, was listed among the others suggested, I still wasn’t sure if I’d choose it since I’m not entirely trusting in conducting business online. It wasn’t until Jeff and I spoke that I began to think seriously about reversing my stance due to Jeff’s manner of speaking and his thorough understanding of the military person’s concerns and unique circumstances, Jeff came across as someone that I felt I could genuinely trust and with me, that doesn’t come easy AND he still had to earn it; and how did he come to do this? as I came to understand the depth of his knowledge in that he knew what he was talking about – he’s the type that will tell you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear - I respect that approach to doing business this way.\r

I not only found Jeff to be knowledgeable about the entire VA loan process and the timely submissions of associated documents but he willing provided me information regarding the process as well, admittedly, more than I wanted to know but it only helped prove to me (1) just how much he enjoys what he does for the reasons he does it and (2) the commitment and professionalism in the way that he follows through on what he states. A person has to be trustworthy in order to get my business and courteous throughout to retain it. Jeff was all this and more.\r

Be it a telephone call at the office or home, or an e-mail, Jeff will get a hold of you to ensure every step of the process is going to well and that you’re doing what you need to get accomplished as well. I came to quickly understand that when dealing with Jeff, he not only explained the entire loan process from inception to completion but gave me a comforting sense of well-being knowing that this man was ensuring my homeownership would come to fruition. \r

So this has been my experience in having Jeff handle my VA loan. Hence the reason I wanted to take a few days to accurately reflect on how this loan process was for me so that I could share it here in this forum. Thank you for the chance to do so. I’ll add one thing further, because of Jeff’s expertise and ability to not make one feel like some nameless customer, when I decide to purchase a second home a few years down the road, I ABSOLUTELY expect Jeff to care of that as well so that he can successfully navigate me through this process again with no worries. \r
