I have a 2010 Escape...went in for an oil change, no biggie. Then was told that I needed to bring back the car because of a recall on the transmission...fine? No not so fine. I was out of a car for a few days, which was typical. But when my husband and I were about to drive away the car jerked. They said they would take a look at it. I was told that when they hooked up the computer to the car again to reset the system, they said that it was the computer that must have remembered how the car ran before I brought it in to the dealership and so thats why is acting up like that. UH NO. it didnt act like that before, it ran smooth. They couldnt figure out what was wrong so they said they wanted to keep it again...so AGAIN I was out of car for another week. Not only did I get stuck with a small car, but that was their only car. I get the car back 4 days later. On the paper work they said that they had test drove it and it was fine. I drove away and as soon as I started braking the transmission was slipping. It would jerk when I sped up and slowed down. After driving it for a while the car stopped jerking. Ever since I have had it back, the first time I drive in the morning it jerks and and the transmission slips and now the engine sounds like crap. Called to get it in but I have had to wait a whole week because they dont have a loaner car. Not going back there again. My car is off to another dealer. Screw that place
