Skeins is disorganized, cluttered, unfriendly, and altogether not worth the trip. I've given them three chances, and each time (just for walking in) I was treated like I'd just stolen something or crashed a party. Also, their selection of yarns (unless you like campy) is severely limited. You'd be better off going almost anywhere else. They do not exist to serve you, but rather to inflate their own self-images. Sure, they know their knitting, but that's like saying a bird can fly--big deal. Positive reviews for this place were clearly written by people with a vested interest in its success. I'll try 'em again in like a year. Hopefully by then they'll have gotten over themselves.
