Dominick's looks intriguing. It's on the corner and boasts an impressive menu. My wife and I decided to check it out last night. The garlic bread thrilled us. But, unfortunately, the rest of the meal was down hill from there.
Salad is not served with the meal which was a bit disappointing. To console ourselves we had the stuffed portabello mushrooms. They were good but nothing to brag about. For the main course she had the Shrimp Scampi and I had the Spicy Chicken & Sausage casserole. The noodles in the scampi sucked up the garlic and butter rendering the entire plate tasteless. The pasta in the casserole was dry and pretty tasteless as well.
Both meals looked quick and easy to make. This was in contrast to the 30+ minutes it took for the main course to be served.
The atmosphere was good. Nice seating and the serving staff were very good. This did not make up for the meal, however.
Bottom line - below average and definitely not worth the price.
