I have been married to a native Thai man for 15 years, and lived in Thailand for 5 years. I have tried Thai food in Thai land, and all over the world...and at this point would call myself a Thai food connoisseur. I moved to Raleigh two years ago and have been in search of the best Thai food in Raleigh, Durham and Cary. I found Tom Yum Thai to be the best Thai food in the research triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill), and to be in the top 5 best Thai restaurants I have ever eaten at. The owner is friendly and moved to Cary from Thai land about a year ago. The food is fresh, elegant, and full of delicious flavor. The restaurant atmosphere is wonderful, great mood lighting and music, perfect for a date...makes me think I am back in Thai land and my husband agrees 100%:) The food is also very reasonably priced. I would STRONGLY suggest eating here!!!
