VERY POOR SERVICE!!!! 9/29/2010

We were very disgusted about the care we received from this vet. We took our puppy for his first exam and they told us he seemed perfectly healthy ignoring the fact that he was almost underweight and occasionally puking. As the puking progressed we called more and tried to get help to solve our dogs problem. They had us bring in a stool sample but did not want to examine the puppy. The vet did not call us with the results so we finally gave in and called them. When they told us the results came back normal I began to question what do we do next to figure out what is wrong. The lady I spoke to just said that it could be he is adjusting to his new home and rushed me off the phone. I finally got them to see my dog after that weekend was over. That Monday, Dr. Kraft informed us that our dog had lost 2lbs in a week, which was half of his body weight, and was seriously sick. He also recommended that we put him to sleep because he would probably not live through the night and all of the tests would cost a fortune. I then told them how I felt about them ignoring us and telling us the puppy is just getting use to his new home. The doctor did not care about what we had to say and did not even cut us a break on the price to put the puppy asleep. They charged us $110 just to put the dog asleep, and that is excluding cremation since we buried him at home. Since it was close to the end of the day, the doctor and nurse rushed us to make a decision and tried to get us out of their office as fast as possible. This was a very tragic event for us and being treated poorly did not help. The breeder of our puppy tried to talk to the vet about what happened and he would not give her the time of day. I RECOMMEND TO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!!!! more
