I went thru the same thing. I went into the salon and talked with the owner. She advised me if I called the company that handles my card, they would see that the money is sitting in limbo. The card company put the money back on my card, and it was a very simple process. CALL THE CARD COMPANY AND GET IT FIGURED OUT BEFORE YOU START MAKING NASTY COMMENTS ABOUT SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED BEFORE THE CURRENT OWNER COULD FIX IT!
