On 7/23/10, my 6 lb toy poodle Tarie was viciously attacked by my neighbors dog. She had to have emergency surgery @ another hospital but I had to transfer her the next day to Cobb Emergency. The doctor (Dr Lombardi) was upfront w/me about the severity of her injuries & that their costs were expensive but that they would do a thorough examination & she would get the best care. The next day, I was told that Tarie may not make it & that the next 72 hrs were very critical. Needless to say, Tarie made it thru the critical period (because she's a little firecracker anyway...lol) & her progress took a turn for the better. She stayed @ the hospital for a full week & received THE BEST CARE & attention from the doctors (Dr Engeran & Dr Robertson) & staff......they were GREAT!!!! Although the medical bills are high, it's the price we pay for our beloved pets that we consider a family member. I just really appreciated that the staff always communicated with me about any add'l costs. With that bei
