I have been going to Dr. Cooke for almost 30 years. \r

As to the amount of cats he has in his office, they are there because he has a big heart. These cats have either come in for treatment or been left on his doorstep. When he hasn't been able to adopt them out, he keeps them in lieu of the deadly alternative.\r

Sure, I guess for some people this is an issue, but it shows me his heart.\r

Equally, when I took my ferret in to be euthanized, he took her out of the room, injected her, and brought her back to me and told me to "take my time" with her. He wasn't worried that he needed the room. He understood the grief I was going through and even peeked in on me several times to see if I needed anything.\r
