I just called today to inquire about getting my bridesmaid's dress altered, and the woman who answered the phone was rude. She had a semi-thick accent. She interrupted me several times, talked over me, etc.-and when I asked for a ball park price range for alterations she gave me from $45-$100. (I bought the dress online for only $118)
I told her my dress is a little too big and a little too long (better than being too short and too tight!) she told me I'd have to bring the dress in and talk to the seamstress myself, and that her seamstress is very busy right now (umm, isn't the most busiest bridal season June? and here we are in August) and that in order to bring the dress in for a price quote I'd have to book an appointment. I asked what time they closed tonight, she said ""we close at 8pm, but you know, it's not like your going to be able to bring the dress in TODAY! I already told you you had to make an appointment-"" I replied ""I know! I wasn't trying to bring my dress in today, I need to know what time you close because I need to call you back!"" And I just ended up hanging up the phone.
If I'm getting treated this poorly over the phone, I can only imagine how bad I'd be treated in person (this bad or worse!) I will not be giving Mary Me Bridal my business-and I don't care how many good reviews are one them, I'm going strickly off of my personal experience that I had today. EXTREMELY poor customer service, unnecessary snobby-ness and rudeness.
