We called Shafer Services because we had no hot water. They came out and did a diagnostic on our water heater and said the upper heating element was bad. They charged $380 to put a new one in. Chris G said it would take about 45 minutes for the water to heat up. The next morning our water was ice cold still no hot water. We called Shafer and they sent out a different plumber who told us that we have no electricity going to the unit and that our breaker was bad and to call an electrician. We called an electrician to come out ( which cost us an additional $163 on a saturday) and he told us we HAVE electricity at the unit and pulled the electric panel off and said there is nothing wrong with our breaker! We had to call another plumber out as we still had no hot water and he told us we just needed to press the reset button. The guys from Shafer should have known to do this!
