I must say, i was at the best shape in my life at this age. It is a great workout and as strenuous as you want it to be. My only concern is the personal trainers. There is no way that the trainers are certified. I've seen trainers use old techniques that are outdated and known to cause injury. I'm an ex-personal trainer myself, had a IFPA certification, not great but i had to take a test that was multiple choice and essay. It focused a lot on safety, the importance of technique, etc. So I really wouldn't recommend to anyone to use the personal trainers there unless you know they have a good certification. Tip: On the lat pull down machine, the bar never goes behind the neck, it can cause neck and shoulder injury. If anyone makes you do it this way, stop going to them.
