I recently visited the Dublin ""Once Upon A Child"". I took a basket full of very nice clothes and shoes. I returned only to find that my ""unacceptables"" and my clothes basket had been donated without my knowledge. They then proceeded to tell me they could not give cash to me because I did not return within 24 hours to collect. Instead they gave me a ""gift card"". They could not care less that I was upset and they said someone tried to contact me via phone to remind me that I had to pick up my ""unacceptables"". This simply was not true as there was no message on my voicemail, nor did their number show up on my caller ID. They were rude to me and could not care less that I was upset. My clothes basket cost more than the pathetic $5.00 gift card. I made it clear to the manager that I would NOT be back. This is not the first undesirable experience I have had there and I am finished with them!!!! I am looking in to contacting their corporate to file a complaint. They probably won't care either.
