I will admit, I don't know very much about animals, so I guess I can't speak expertly on how they should be ""kept"" in a pet store, BUT our experience with Critters has always been fantastic! We showed up there one morning with a “way too wild” hamster and a very disappointed birthday girl. :( The store wasn’t even open yet, but they let us in anyway, and happily replaced our pet with his much calmer sister. We visit here often, and are always treated with courtesy and professionalism. They also seem to care a great deal for the pets- cages/tanks are always clean and animals appear healthy and happy. We love Critters!! \r
