Downtown Water Street District in Henderson has its share of history. From the El Dorado Casino to the library, this road has seen in it all. At the beginning of the magical street, lies a quaint little Tavern called the Gold Mine. A place where locals meet, have a few drinks, play a few games of pool and, a few nights out of the week, you can listen to live local music. The Goldmine is a perfect place to enjoy an evening with old friends, or perhaps, even meet a few new ones. The local music showcase that happens every Thurs, Fri and Sat is something that was needed for so long in the Henderson area. It provides a night for the Local artists to come and play that is friendly and has a great stage and sound system to showcase their skills. It is a FREE NO COVER 21+ event that happen every Thurs, Fri and Sat night at 9pm to close. The music ranges from indie to classic rock with national touring bands as well as local artists.
