Cypress Greystar Village Apts & 25222 NW Frwy have hired the most inhospitable and prejudice Property Manager (Shannon Crumpler) in my 17 yrs of leasing apts. She is out for numbers and not courtesy. The place is run like a dorm room in which you cannot be outside of your apt after 10pm or the uncourtesy officer who works hand in hand with the dreadful mgr, Shannon will quickly give you a LEASE VIOLATION without warning. The apts are filled with people living there but not on the lease the place invites vandalism and an over crowded pool filled with underage drinking parties. Vandals coming in on regular basis disturbing the entire community. Vandals came one night and sprayed the 1st and 2nd hallways with the extinguishers at 3 AM and I took pictures. The same vandals broke the Exits sign on the 2nd floor and the property manager Shannon simple charged them for the sign but did not evict them for either occasion. There is NO PARKING for the apartment. WARNING!!! The apt forces you to park in the METRO Park & Ride in which there have been 3 seperate robberies at gunpoint of the residences. This garage does not belong to Greystar neither is security provided so if you are a single woman or single mother I advise that you do not seek residency here. It is a horrible place and management makes it unbearable. This were so bad for me that the Greystar Corporate Office gave me FREE RENT for the month of June, 2010 and FREE move-out. I paid a deposit to move-in and Shannon's mgr told me my deposit would be refunded in 30 days and here it is Aug 18 and I have not received it and they are not responding to my email attempts. They also towed my vehicle illegally and Shannon told me to take the company to court to get reimbursed the towing fees, plus they damaged the front end of my car and my window is damaged. They refuse to refund me and the towing company has admitted wrong doing. This is the worst and most uncomfortable place to live in Houston. IF you are in the Cypress area and are looking for a nice, beautiful friendly place to live come to Lakeview Lofts on Barker Cypress. I will even give you $250 for telling them Karl in 7207 sent you. DO NOT MOVE TO CYPRESS GREYSTAR VILLAGE. I have pictures coming soon of all the time the property was vanalized, what the property looked like after a few of the underage drinking parties (in which Greystar employees gave these kids drinking cups to keep glass out of the pool), pictures of the Fire Dept at 3 AM busting doors open, ambulance visits due to underage non-resident over dosing and so on. It's is that bad.
