I've been taking my three Chevys to Whitney Auto Service for three years, probably. I find that their service is better than the dealer. When I take my car into the dealer for an oil change, they say it'll take a half hour, and I wind up sitting around for an hour. When I go to Whitney, it's done when they say it will be. They also have Wi-Fi Internet, and a place I can plug my computer in, since it's old and the battery drains in ten minutes. Whitney's prices are good, and if they find anything wrong, they tell me about it. They always gave me the straight shot. They also sell AC Delco parts, which to me is a big deal, because a lot of places these days sell what's called "white box parts," these off-brands that you've never heard of. I've known about AC Delco all my life. The fact Whitney is AC Delco approved and AAA approved means they're a quality shop. They're my mechanic. I really feel that they have my best interests at heart. I've had three vehicles serviced by them, so they know I'm a good customer, and they treat me accordingly. I live in Camarillo, and I drive 46 miles each direction just so they can service my car. I go because I know I can rely on them. I've left checkbooks, cash in the car, they never touch it. They don't even change the radio station. They treat my car with respect. I trust them, they take good care of me. more
