The line for the Journey into Africa was about an hour long, and the ride was extremely dissapointing. The driver started with the safety rules, "Please remain seated while the tram is in motion." The driver should have said, "You'll need to stay seated for the entire ride, because I'm not stopping." We slowed down a few tiems, and that was about it. When I got home and looked at the photos, they were all blurred, because we were never fully stopped. I was in the last car, the last one to stop, and it moves forward with a lunge when the driver starts up.
Don't bother wasting your time on the ride, it turns out to be a big dissapointment. The worst part is that there are a lot of animals that can only be seen from the tram. So, if you want to see a zebra, you have to take the tram. It's also a great chance to try and upsell the guests on all of the paid tours. I think it's part of their strategy for not stopping. If you want to stop and look at an animal it will cost you extra.
Pros: Lots of animals, Large enclosures
Cons: Drivers rarely stop and then very briefly. Lots of Upsell
