I love cats and currently own one cat and foster regularly. However, I do not recommend getting your cat from this shelter. Try CHA or Pets Without Parents instead (the one other shelter to adopt a cat in Columbus is the Humane Society and I don't recommend them just because they are crowded, unfriendly, and it is difficult to see all the cats and play with them to decide which you want to adopt).\r

This shelter goes against what every other shelter holds as the golden rule. You can't let someone take a cat home if it can still make babies! That is the point. We wouln't need shelters if stray cats (born stray or left to roam outdoors by owners) weren't out there proliferating.\r

This shelter gets away with the shody practice by saying they don't spay/neuter until 6 months, and they will send you a reminder in the mail. Of course they never sent me a reminder! Why would they? They can pocket the extra money from the adoption fee and
