My dog and two cats have been patients for years but now I've had enough -- Chipman Road Animal Clinic is hell-bent on making money on routine medications such as heartworm preventers and anti-fungals rather than focusing on caring for their patients. At various points, I've tried to purchase maintenance meds such as Heartguard from internet companies, only to be completely STOPPED by Chipman Road Animal Clinic's request for an "office visit" or -- get this one -- "heartworm testing to make sure you don't come back to us if you purchased defective Heartguard from somewhere else and your dog gets heartworm." Seriously! They will do everything in their power to prevent you from buying your meds elsewhere; they'd much rather you walk in the door and buy from them at greatly inflated prices (and of course, if you do that, you won't have to pay for unnecessary office visits). To me, this practice should be illegal and I should be able to purchase my dog's meds wherever I choose, while savin
