I've been taking my dogs to Camp Four Paws for 8 years now, first my Tibetan Terrier, Yeti, and now my Havanese, Max. This facility is so on top of what's going on with individual dogs; their care is extraordinary. If a dog seems to be getting tired or over-stimulated, they'll notice and take him inside for a bit of quiet time. I've even heard of the owner catching major medical issues that owners hadn't noticed, and getting prompt--sometimes life saving--treatment. The dogs are outside (separated by size into different areas) for hours each day, monitored/played with at all times by staff members--animal lovers all. And they have a ball--it truly is like a camp for canines! The owner does rigorous temperament testing before she'll accept your dog; they do not take aggressive pets, which makes all the dogs safer and allows them to rollick in great, galloping packs in the huge play area.
