Very disappointing. They are the only 24-hr facility in RI (that I know of), and they are "a business first." Their fees are very high, and it has been my experience (over 5 years, many animals) that the practitioners immediately suggest the high-end aggressive treatment option. I work with a local no-kill shelter - they brought 2 failing kittens in and were told they had to pay $800 up front (no shelter discount - "this is a business, sir") before treatment would be rendered. I went there one day to buy a couple of cans of prescription cat food to get me thru the weekend (my vet had just closed) and was refused. Not a warm and fuzzy place.
