First off, and I am DEAD SERIOUS, I am the pickest of furkid parents in the world. I am a nurse, retired, was one of the first national poodle rescues and I know what I'm talking about. Every vet I've tried in the Yuba Sutter area came up lacking. One even killed a poodle of mine (another story).\r

When I found that AKC recommended Bear River Clinic and even offered a free exam for my new poodle pup, I was skeptic at best.\r

When we went in for our appointment, we were greeted by many dogs of all kinds. Most rescues whose lives were saved by this clinic. All well behaved and wanted to play with my new pup. Of course, being the over worried mom, I didn't let her down on the floor - you never know when the floor was last cleaned or better yet, disinfected. Parvo, distemper and such easy to pick up at such a place. I don't let pups down on the ground in my own yard until they have had their series of DHLPP vaccinations for protection! I told you I was picky!\r
