I have gone to Chaps Lake several times, each time we arrived about 8pm and stayed until 7am. We have always caught good size catfish, even our 6, 8 and 10 yr old catch them. The grounds are very well taken care of. I am understanding that the post below are from a disgruntled employee. Go there yourself and be the judge. I would recommend Chaps lake to anyone. My only complaint is that they are not open enough in the evenings.
Pros: very clean almost like a golf course!
Cons: hours - needs to be open more
