Buyers BEWARE 7/6/2010

As a Bridlegate Property ""Owner"" our views and opinions differ from the ""Seller/Developer"". As we watch our most precious amenities deteriorate, club house falling apart, stables torn down, and values depreciating. Many have complained about electrical shocks while flipping a light switch, constant plumbing issues, NO FIRE or SMOKE Detectors. Recently a property owner was smoked out as he lit his fireplace and smoke engulfed their cabin. NO ALARM! McCumber walked away when with no regard when invited to visit the cabin. Repeated requests for smoke detectors continue to be ignored.\r \r The economy has definitely impacted sales but desperate tactics, lowering standards by encouraging weekend getaway shacks, livable barns, and sheds to the original promise of homes in an upscale equestrian themed property are unacceptable. Double Diamond DD Ranch is gorgeous....but the developers maintained their integrity. Barns are acceptable but not as permanent living. \r \r Several Custom Home builders at Bridlegate have expressed disappointment in the developer and architectural control committee's lack of concern for approved structures and the future of Bridlegate...not the beautiful ""Bridlegate Ranch"" we thought it would be.\r \r Some wonder, have they given up, are they planning Bankruptcy?\r \r Empty promises...Don't invest in property you may regret buying.\r \r Buyers BEWARE of Bridlegate Ranch! The ranch club house and cabins are their biggest selling point. It is difficult to get a reservation but ironically many weekends remain vacant. The staff becomes angry and rude if you inquire or question them on the issue. The stables have been under construction for over a year. Huge barns are being constructed all over the ranch with no immediate plans for a permanent home structure. \r Cons: Unsatisfied Property Owners more
