I recently called Stereo Wharehouse to ask about having an alarm/automatic entry installed. When I called I asked how long it would take to have these things installed. I was told 2 hours. I handed the keys to the installer at 10:30 AM and he handed the keys back to me at just before 4:00 pm. When I first went in to talk about what I wanted done. I spoke to a woman and told her that I didn?t want the alarm to ?go off?. I just wanted the pager thing to go off. She never told the installer this. I could see that she was busy talking and texting on her blackberry. So, the installer just cut the wire and said come back in and I?ll put in a toggle switch. After a phew miles of leaving Stereo Warehouse I discovered that every time I used my turn signal the door locks would lock and unlock. Also: the installer did not replace some of the panels he removed, left several screws he removed from other panels lying on the floor of my vehicle and left sort of a mess from his stripped wires lying around. For $550.00 I would have thought he could at least clean up his mess. A phew days later I came back to have this corrected and the guy I talked to said that the installer wasn?t working that day. (couldn?t anyone else there have fixed the problem?) And that he would be back to work next Saturday at (9:00 am). I came back the following Saturday at around 11:00 am and was told that he wasn?t working that day. So then a sales guy said that he would look at it and fix it. He did, but after I left I got on the freeway and saw that he didn?t close the hood of my van and it was just sort of flappin in the breeze. My question is : What the hell kind of operation are you running?
Pros: They sell good stuff
Cons: See my rant below
