We could not be any happier with the love, passion, nurture, learning, and support that our daughter has been receiving in Discovery Land for the past year.
I am the kind of parent who always worry about everything when I leave my daughter behind, whether it?s food, play, safety, attention, feelings, learning opportunities?etc?you name it. I still have these concerns/fears even today if I leave my daughter in the care of someone else?s hands, except for Discovery Land.
The reason for most of my concerns mostly because my daughter is beyond high maintenance. She is a very slow and picky eater, but DL staffs took care of that by making sure she eats enough, even if it took more than an hour of feeding. She is also extremely shy among strangers and likes to do things very slowly on her own pace, and DL staffs recognized that and created a very loving and supportive place so she feels safe and comfortable in going M-F. And she always tells me she loves ALL the teachers there!
Here?s a short list of highlights of Lina and the teachers:
- Lina and all the teachers are extremely positive and passionate in caring for every child.
- We were always greeted with beautiful smiles, and constantly given updates about our daughter's performance during the day.
- Lina cooks really really tasty and healthy food daily that even I would like to dig my teeth into! (I am very big on taste and quality nutritious food, so I have to emphasize Lina?s hearty soups with meat and lots of veggies, buckwheat dishes, whole wheat yet tasty snacks, lots of organic fruits?)
- The children get plenty of opportunity for learning: story time, singing and dancing with a piano or gymnastics teacher, drawing, numbers, letters, animals, goo, paint, glitters, and a variety of arts and crafts.
The amazing Lina and teachers are so dedicated and creative that create a warm environment for both the kids and the parents. To sum up, our experience there is incredible, and we recommend this place to all parents who want to feel at peace after dropping off their kids, knowing that their kids are in great hands and will be having lots of fun and learning everyday!!!
