I didn't even know I wanted this, but the owner (2 years ago) explained what the process was and what it would do for my hair, which isn't really curly, but wavy and in the summer prone to frizz. After first treatment I was shocked to have silky, shiny hair! I got so many compliments that I knew I wanted to continue. I've now gone back every three months for the last 2 years for this wonderful (smell free, toxin free) protein treatment, which seals the cuticle, softens the hair and creates shine. The only trick is you HAVE to use the shampoo and conditioner that the owner creates especially for this process. If you don't, you will end up stripping your hair of the treatment (all OTC shampoos' have either sulfates or sodium or both - which strip keratin off the hair shaft). The owner creates his own line which are sulfate and sodium free AND smell great too!
