I have been a member at Fitness Plus for about 6 years, but have begun looking elsewhere. When the gym assumed new ownership a few years ago, I like many others were hopeful the maintenence of the facilty would improve. It did at first, but that was short lived. Once again equipment is in disrepair and the locker rooms and restrooms are in need of complete renovation. Simply adding new shower curtains does not distract from the dirty tiles and nasty carpet. They promote that they have a spinning room, but it is actually a petry dish for diseases and has the equivalent of junk yard spin bikes. The spin instructors all do their best to clean the room/bikes in their spare time, but this should be maintained by the facility itself. This gym has a lot of potential but I for one am done waiting around for yet another owner to take pride in their business.
Pros: Old school ""gym"" for weightlifters only
Cons: Facility in disrepair: locker rooms, spin bikes, equip, etc
