We received a gift card to go have a steak at The Chop House, so we went this evening. We were so excited because we had heard great things but the restaurant is a bit beyond our means. I ordered a medium-rare Porterhouse. It arrived incredibly over-cooked. The waiter agreed and took it back. The next one was blue-raw. The manager came to see us and offered a $7.00 dessert for my $45 steak that I could not eat. The waiter explained that its difficult to cook a steak on the bone... YOU'RE A STEAK HOUSE!!! This was our last trip to The Chop House.
