Horrible Room 7/10/2010

I reserved a ""Luxury Queen Suite"" for three nights. The configuration of the room was dysfunctional. The closet/dressing area was on the opposite side of the suite from the bedroom---you had to go through the sitting area to get to the closet. The room was sparsely furnished. For example, only one end table in the bedroom. There is little attention to detail. For example, there is a flashing red light directly over the bed. It was like trying to sleep with an airport beacon in your room. However, the worst was the bathroom. It is extremely small and has no counter or shelf space. Literally, there was no room to place a pill bottle, much less toiletries. Shaving is extremely difficult. I don't know how a woman would apply makeup in this cramped space. The space was so small that the hotel has the hair dryer jammed in the towel bar between the towel and the wall. I thought that perhaps that I just got an odd room, but when I called to request a new room I learned that most of the bathrooms are like this. Needless to say I will not be staying here again, and for the price charged, there are many better options in downtown Minneapolis. Pros: Elegant Cons: Room design more
